Review of Greenville, South Carolina

Air quality

I am planing to move out of St. Louis and one of the reasons is the bad air quality (29). I feel like I am getting sick from that. I was thinking about Greenville, and was shocked to see, that it is rated even lower (23). Can anybody tell me, how bad it really is?

The air quality is listed as bad due to allergens. Greenville, SC is the worst city in the country for pollen allergens; pollen counts in the thousands are an annual occurence. Regarding smog or industrial pollution, it's basically non-existent. The air has very little traffic to pollute it and most of the upstate region is powered by a nuclear station some 30 miles away. The water is piped in from a reservoir in the nearby blue ridge mountains.
