Not very friendly

I've never lived in Highland's Ranch but I did work there for over a year and for me, this one of those places I chuckle dryly at as I drive past. I work in a field that requires a very high amount of customer service and I met a lot of people while working here. Almost everyone I met was very proud to live in this town to the point where they looked down on people who weren't residents. I was often asked where I was from and then treated to smug comments about how much better Highland's Ranch is and there was a consistent feeling of being an unwelcome outsider. It looks like a pretty nice place to live, well maintained and I heard way more than I wanted to about how much better the schools are and how much lower the crime rate is, but if you're looking for anything more than a suburb to raise a family in then you'll be disappointed; there's nothing at all to do in Highland's Ranch. And there's no diversity, everyone is white and upper-middle class to white and very wealthy.
