Chicago's Millenium Park

One of the greatest new urban creations anywhere is Millenium Park. The cloud gate sculpture is exceptional and the Pritzker pavillion by Frank Gehry is a wonderful place to take in a concert on a summer evening. In the winter there is skating at the McCormick rink next to the delightful park cafe. This newly renovated section of town has greatly revitalized the Chicago loop and the theater district. Lots of great restaurants and tons to do. Be sure to tune in WTTW channel 11's restaurant review show "Check Please" for recommendations.
