My husband and I moved here, approximately 1 year ago, from Michigan. We were hoping to stay for a long time, but are feeling the money crunch again. In MI. he was in the auto industry and was lucky to find employment here, but due to the type of work he does, the future is bleak. I am busy researching for a final destination. We like it here but housing and property taxes are at least double compared to the area we lived in MI. People are friendly and there is so much to do, we are close to Chicago and its amazing. We hate to leave. Traffic stinks no matter where you go, was not prepared for that. What appeared to be a stable place close to home is now showing signs of despair.
