eclectic town in the middle of the desert

went to crossroads, a local restaurant in town, and ran across some folks who are relocating to joshua tree from south carolina. they were in town to go to the art gallery opening....3 of them!!! on this little strip of desert, 3 art gallerys were opening! i love this town and am thinking of relocating there myself
