Sin City Sucks! Not Worth It

I lived here for three years and was a bartender at a casino and got laid off twice, and you have to start off as an extra-board on-call employee for any casino position like dealers or beverage staff. I know cocktail waitresses that have to work as escorts because they rarely get called in for work until they have enough seniortity which takes about 3 years. I've showed up at job fairs and waited in line for 6 hours before because everyone is chasing the same peice of cheese. Not a lot of diversity in the occupations, everyone is either a bartender, waitress or dealer. Every girl I met from the gym turned out to be a hooker or was at one time, the money is too great for them to pass up. There aren't any goodlooking females who are secretaries, etc. every woman here is making a living from her looks because nobody here has any education. Losers from all over come here for fast money. Everyone is into some kind of scam or con for money, not just the bums, but everyone. People from LA say this place is more phony and materialistic. The only culture is gambling and prostition and you don't have to look far to see it. Going to the gym is like setting foot into a strip club. Lots of hot women who you can't be with unless you pay their hourly rate. The attitude and karma of this place is dark and depressing and Las Vegas has the highest suicide rate per capita because a lot of married couples lose their homes due to gambling addictions they develop after moving here. If you love unintelligent immoral people who will do anything to make a buck off of you than this is the place to be. Home invasions and car theft is out of control, people here live like wild animals, and you need to be armed just to go to the grocery store. I've worked with several waitresses who got mugged in a good part of town shopping in the afternoon in the parking lot of stores and thet got mugged at gunpoint. Your car can be stolen from your driveway at any hour, money is the only thing that counts out here.
