Yeah, but it's a DRY heat

Just relocated to Las Vegas from Chicago and can say that low humidity makes a huge difference in how hot it feels outside. I will say that I do notice the intensity of the sunlight more than the actual heat. Still, I think that there is a misperception that in Las Vegas (as in Chicago) people are just sitting outside in the extreme weather. This is simply not true.
