I hate Las Vegas. I love Las Vegas.
I've been here 8 years.
All the women are golddigging whores. All the men are materialistic playboys.
And that's the good part.
The cost of living isn't bad.
The summers are brutal with the heat.
The winters are awesome.
The restaurants, concerts and nightlife are bar none.
Everyone is liberal and everything is allowed. If you tell someone you used to be a bank robber or were locked up for murder, no one would judge you. I'm kidding but it's sorta true. Everyone who lives here has a past and nobody judges anyone and I sorta like that. Everyone comes here to better themselves and run away from who they were someplace else.
It's a fantastic place on many levels. You can be whomever you want and everyone won't question it.
You'll never find love. You'll never settle down, find a wife/husband, have 2 kids. Maybe you'll have a dog or cat. But don't take them out in the heat. You can buy a house and have all the trappings of success but are you really happy? That in a nutshell is Vegas.
If you are a rebel who likes keeping strange hours, you'll love Vegas. You can come and go all day and night and sleep when you aren't working.
The job market is horrible. The wages are atrocious. But everyone is making money outside of work. lol
I like Vegas much more than LA but far less than NY.
