Lexington Ky. Our home

Lexington has been my home for only 2 years. I love Lexington. For the most part the people here are very nice. Crime is what I would call low, as compared to a larger city such as L.A. They have a wonderful school for talented children here called SCAPA. My husband and I have visited over 25 of the states in the United States and I must say that even though there are a SMALL handful of states that are prettier. Lexington is still very beautiful. The horse Capital of the WORLD. Green and quite lovely in Spring with lots of song birds to wake you and a lot of flowers. Fall is colorful with brisk evenings. Summer can get a little humid but fireflies, bbqs and fire works make summer really nice. Winter is cold yet beautiful in its own way.The city has holiday stuff to enjoy. The ONLY thing I would change about Lexington at this time is how fast it is being DEVELOPED. Once it's gone it's gone. I grew up in Southern California.I miss the orange groves, avo.farms, birds and the families that raised there kids there generation after generation. Calif.is just one house after another now.To busy to stop and smell the roses. To focused on making a buck. I hope it doesnt happen here. Dj
