Having four seasons is what I like best about the state of Maine. In addition, there aren't many other places where you can experience a variety of landscapes - from forests to meadows, from mountains to the coast. Of course you do have to deal with a blackfly or several dozen. ;-) .....but then, it's a small price to pay for such diversity!
