Nice town to raise family. Crime is love in west Mckinney, family oriented with more to do that other Dallas Suburbs. Lots of shopping with outlets and malls. Traffic has increased with rapid growth. Schools are good for those college bound. Home prices and rent average with lots of inventory to chose from. Still new home building and lower than the cost of the average price, can find a new home under 200.00. Historic down town trendy, and many major employers near by in Frisco or Plano. North Texas university and Texas Women U. within 30-40 mins. Close to Dallas Toll Roads. Over all Mckinney is a great town. Conservative town, clean and new.
