Crime in Memphis

Does anyone know whether or not the crime in Memphis is mainly an inner city
problem or has it spilled into the suburbs? I know that crime can happen anywhere but I'm just trying to get a feel on whether Shelby County has a problem or Memphis proper is the main culprit.
