The cost of living in memphis, tn is a lot less than other cities such as Miami, Atlanta, Etc but there isn't much to do here for younger people. All the family fun that was once here when I was growing up has moved making family fun something you pack up and go elsewhere to do. I've never had a problem with the crime here but TV (first 48) puts memphis on the map as "bad." Just as any place....there are good areas and bad areas but crime can happen anywhere all you need for that is an idiot who wants to stir up trouble.
