Mephis Fun If You're Single

I've lived in Memphis for 5 years now, and am looking to move for my career, but have definitely had a BLAST here! I am single and have found plenty to do, but I would never want to raise a family here. High crime, poor public school systems, inconsistant city and county government with constant infighting and scandal, poor customer service, and bad drivers!
The people ARE very nice though, if you're "in your own element". Downtown is newly renovated and lots of fun to be in. Compared to the rest of the country, it's a pretty cheap place to live. The suburbs are for families, so if you're single or an active couple, live inside the loop. Higher crime and prices, but well worth it for the atmosphere.
