Paying bills

I recently finished school and began to make more money and for the first time ever I'm not living hand to mouth. I'm a single woman with no kids who just finished nursing school. Right now Memphis is very affordable for me. Why I want to leave Memphis has nothing to do with cost of living. Unfortunately in Memphis no amount of money will guarantee security in your own home. The utility bills are a bit high, but right now for me it's affordable. Now I'm looking for the whole package in a city, including safety.
