Memphis is spiraling downard...

I live in Collierville which is nice. Unfortunately Memphis is not nice so whether you live in a safer, nicer city like Collierville does not matter as much. The crime is awful. It is not very safe to go to many places in Memphis. The racial tension is so disappointing. The mayor is a joke and a disgrace to African Americans. There seems to be a lot of investment in the downtown area which would imply a good future. I am afraid however that the gangs, crime and politics will do the city in. I will be leaving as soon as I find a good job elsewhere.
