Poor quality of Life in Memphis, TN

I have been living in Memphis, TN for about nine months now. I had visited a few times before having permanently translocated from Miami, FL to move in with my parents who have been living here for a few years. At a glance, it may not seem so awful but first impressions may be deceiving. Having grown up in a big city with stuff to do, Memphis is a ghost town. From the obnoxious cops to the early business closures, Memphis offers a lifetime filled with a lingering monotony.
