Lived here for a total of 3 yrs. Declining economy, astoundingly high gasoline prices, substandard medical care and people in the area seem to be there as they can't afford Sun City or Scottsdale etc. Those are the retirees. Mayor was being investigated by FBI and the list goes on. It's a nice spot. Has it's own water which has not been sold or claimed by LA or Vegas. If you want to live in a condo or the like - this is the time to buy while prices are dropping like stones.
Never seems to have been a good reason for gasoline prices to be so high. Watch which cell phone coverage you get- some works only in part of the city. Nice nice rec center.
