Living in Weston

Commutes from Weston to many of the western Miami suburbs aren’t too bad; however, if you are wanting to travel to the heart of Miami during a busy traffic time, it will take you about 1.5 to 2.5 hours on a good day.
Weston is a nice suburb of Ft. Lauderdale, and it's a planned community -- it's a filled-in area of the Everglades. Homes in the nice areas of the city are very expensive (millions). The cheaper areas are near Sunrise and look run-down compared to the desirable areas. You'll be disappointed by the lack of good restaurants and grocery stores, both of which are very crowded. There is a new senior living community that will add to the overcrowding.
