You couldn't pay me to move back!

I first moved to Miami in 1961. It was pretty much a small town. When the Cubans began coming in they really helped Miami to grow, and in a good way. Then things began to really change. First of all you really do need to know Spanish to "fit in". The whole Metro-Dade area is EXPENISVE. There is no such thing as a day out without having your checkbook or credit card in hand. High crime, heavy traffic, noisey all the time. No thanks. Glad to be gone.
