Minneapolis ups and downs.

Although there are those who might agree to disagree these are my observations as a West Coast transplant.
Pros:
1)For a metropolitan area parking is a dream.
2)Rush hour traffic in downtown Minneapolis may be a little congested at times but at least it moves.
3)Cost of living is (relatively) affordable. Someone with a high school education can
purchase a home in a decent area.
4)You can register your car and renew your driver's license in one trip to the DMV in less then an hour.
5)Clothes will last for years and years because you can only wear the same ones for three months out of the year.
Cons:
1)The climate is extreme by national standards. Utilities run a little high due to this.
2)A large percentage of the urban poulation seems to have originated in very rural areas and thus are not well prepared to handle foreign immigrants and domestic transplants and the differences they bring.
3)Things seem to be spread throughout the vast suburban network making owning a car a must. Aside from the commuter express services public transportation leaves something to be desired.
4) Spaghetti and meatballs is NOT considered spicy anyplace else!
