The city is overrated

The city is overrated. Native TC residents don't care for new-comers and are pretty close-minded. The place is sort of a suburbia sprawl with a bunch of Target, Best Buys and other chain-store boxes around.
The climate is not pleasant - it's cold six months out of the year, but the short summers are gorgeous. Anyway, all in all think twice before you subject yourself to the freezing winters and people that want nothing to do with visitors from other places.

I am curious to know more about what Inna did in Minneapolis. I live in the city and I rarely go to the suburbs, but I am glad the big box stores are there when I need them. And what US city (or other city) have you been to that does not have big box brands all over the suburbs if not the city center?
