Great opportunities but ....

Cost of living is really high here. However, you can get around being on budget. But why doing this when you can't afford it? It's no fun if you have to stay home and not going out with your friends. So, if you can't afford it, you should think twice before moving here.
Things I like: access to museums, shows, activities; 24-hr mass transit; many job opportunities if you are into finance, banking, law, acting, arts; convenience of city living.
Things I don't like: lack of open and green space, traffic congestion and pollution, noise, high cost of living, competitiveness on everything. Although there are many outstanding people here who are smart, decent, driving, energetic, nice and friendly, there are ten times more people who are just on the opposite end of the spectrum. It's quite a pain to have to deal with the latter everyday.
Things I hate: customer services or almost any customer representative I have interacted with in person or over the phone in any store or any business - they are so provokingly rude (sometimes inhumanely), careless, and incompetent at their jobs (or stupid).
