New York City is a great city if you need affordable health care and social services. Check out family health plus, child health plus, healthy new york, nyc low income housing lotteries, HEAP, extended unemploymnet benefits. The economy has been tough especially for mature people, but the unemployment assistance and healthy NY program have kept us afloat.
