NYCs Diminishing Neighborhoods...

NYC is an amazing city to live in and/or experience as it is very diverse in respect to unique cultures, however, it has all changed since...NYCs unique, authentic and hitorical neighborhoods are no longer what they used to be. I'm not just talking about how the clean-up of crime, new businesses and high-end proprerty, etc. improved them. Many neighborhoods that were once "fun" to visit have become either yuppified, condo-licious or so touristy that's it's literally impossible to enjoy or call home. A lot of areas are so commercially saturated rather than residential and lacks that memorable charm...Long story short, do your research and visit various areas before picking a place to live. Don't base your decision off of how cool an area is from what you've heard if you do not really know.
