After moving here from Ohio, I was shell shocked at how much housing was, and how hard it was to find a nice apartment. You could pay so much for an apartment and still have to live next door to someone who is on public assistance or has low-income housing. I honestly do not know how all the poor people and immigrants in NY can afford to live here. Makes you wonder.
