As far as I can tell, there is no city that rivals New York in terms of cultural pursuits. This extends to many areas - food, art, music, museums, theater. There are both high end and budgeted minded options, and this city has something to satisfy people of any interest. I am actually planning to leave NYC soon after 10 years of living here, but I know a place within easy access to the city is a must for me!
