Hmmm should I just go to Florida?

I live in New York and im just so tired of this fast pace life. Im 34yrs old with a 15yr old son. My son and I are ready for a change. We have florida in Mind but just not quite sure where exactly. I would like some place where there are beaches near by, great school system and perhaps night life for myself. I do enjoy going out from time to time. Id rather be away from the craziness. Im also going to be renting so dont want anything to crazy. After all I dont have a job but im going with about maybe 4months of rent and hopefully that will give me enough time. Im currently bartending in NY so if necessary I will do same in florida if need to but eventually Id like a career paying job. Can not bartend for too long. Any suggestions anyone. Id appreciate some feed back. Thanks
