Stick to Orange Park South. The Fleming Island and Doctors Inlet areas. Stay away from the Argyle Boulevard area all together and don't move anywhere near Blanding Boulevard. Traffic is HORRIBLE.
Oakleaf Plantation is supposed to be so nice until you see the gang members walking down your street. Gang members have been coming into Orange Park to recruit from the Westside of Jacksonville which is just north of Orange Park. Traffic is HORRIBLE.
Have you considered Julington Creek? It's much much nicer. The zip code is 32259. The schools are safer, the town takes care of the roads better, the people are better educated and less likely to stare you down for looking at them the wrong way like in Orange Park. Oh and steer clear of the Orange Park Mall! UNSAFE!! Stick to The Avenues down Phillips Highway closer to Julington Creek. I've lived in both places and have noticed that people move to Orange Park and are soarly dissapointed after they realize who else lives there.
You should never be fooled by lower housing prices. There is usually a reason for lower prices in a town. OP is less expensive than JCP for a reason. You couldn't pay me to raise my kids in OP!
