Why the $^&*%#??????

It was 119 degrees in the "Valley of the SUN" the past two days. Why the #%&%#@*???? do I live here???? OH!, I FORGOT, I pay so much in Air-Conditioning bills that I can't afford a moving truck! TRUE! Excuse me while I go back outside my front door tonight and kill some more Black Widow Spiders who are as big as tennis balls. Someone Please Help Me!!!!!

Dear Charles, Many things in my life are not good right now, but when I read your review of Phoenix I actually laughed out loud - and I haven' done that for a very long time. We were considering relocating to Phoenix, but no more. We are heading for the hills (of Sedona) as fast as ever we can. Thank you for your honest appraisal and your humorous way of putting it. Let the Black Widow spiders live. They only eat those big bugs that will invade your home. I have kept "free range" Black Widows in a couple of my homes and never been bitten. They not only keep the population of invasive bug life down they also keep intruders away once the intruder has seen them. Yep, I'm one of them thar Phoenix, AZ Natives. Did someone tell you Phoenix was not in the middle of a desert? Have you never seen a western movie, you know one with Cowboys, Indians and Mexicans?
