Enticing alternative to L.A.

San Diego, with its surrounding Pacific Beach and Ocean Beach areas, affordable nightlife in downtown Front Street, Salk Institute and Sea World, and attractive housing property, is an enticing alternative to Los Angeles. I attended a Bob Dylan concert and dined at the prestigious Star of India restaurant when I last visited.
