I've been in this area for the past 23 years and I love it because it is quite, close proximity to a lot of shopping areas, the weather is mostly sunny and mild except for some hot days which are not too bad, not too far drive to the coastal areas and the mountains and desert. It is also a good place to raise children and has a lot of good school system
