Review of San Diego, California

Been here 30 years
Star Rating - 5/14/2007
Moved to San Diego 30 years ago as a single parent. Six months later I was ready to move back. I never did, but often think about how it would have been. I came from Massachusetts and still miss the people the ocean on the Mass. coast, so different than the cold water here and the endless miles of just wide beach, not much variety. All in all you have to have a very good income or two to live comfortable here, considering the high cost of housing. The air quality is mediocre, the commutes are horrendous. On the plus side, If you are a year round sports fanatic, you would probably like the opportunities here,
