Snobsdale, anyone?

Okay, sure, there are a lot of people with money here. They flaunt it or snub those who are seemingly without it. So, get over it. If you're confident in who you are, should this bother you? And while I couldn't afford to live here, working here is awesome. I live north of here in Phoenix. I must say, leaving some of the dirtier parts of the city to work in the clean and pristine Scottsdale location is a nice respite. The city has great shopping and eateries, too. And actually, I've never been snubbed by anyone who lives here. I think it's the perception that one might have because they aren't wearing Manolo Blaniks or carrying a Kate Spade original (people watching is fun). NY, LA...those places, too, have their rich, but parts of those cities are extremely fun to visit, and so is Scottsdale, even if it's visiting from your home only 5 miles away. As for the heat, however, it sucks. The entire southwest is just damn hot! There is nothing to do in the summer here (same as Tucson, Phoenix, or any hot place) if you don't have a pool or at least access to one. So, if heat isn't your thing, I'd say that's the only reason to stay away from Scottsdale, Snobsdale, Snotsdale or whatever you want to call it.
