I was born and raised here in Saint Petersburg. Let me just tell you that I despise this place. There is nothing but elderly people who should not be allowed to drive. At least once a week there is a news story about an elderly driver running over someone or running their car into a building because they thought they were in reverse. Not to also mention they run you off the road constantly. Crime has gotten out of hand, the weather is insanely hot and it feels like you are walking on the sun! Everyone one is extremely rude and nothing but Ohio trash keep moving here. Also, it is as if we are now living in Miami because everywhere you go are spanish speaking people who do not know a lick of English. Cost of living is through the roof - property taxes have skyrocketed and for what? To live next door to trash (10 people living in a two bedroom house) who let their young children galavant outside late at night. One positive thing is after sitting in an hour of traffic there are plenty of things to do.....beach, movies, shopping, concert venues, and museums
