I have lived in Texas most of my life (lived in the carolina's a couple of years) but moved back in the mid 90's. If you are looking for warm (as northerners would say 'HOT') weather then you are in the right place. IT'S NOTHING like Houston or San Antonio, where there summers are extremely humid, being farther up north - we get all the seasons. Fall and Spring are beautiful.
Nov - March is usually cold as low as 20's for a couple of days and as high as 50's some.
April - June is comfortable might reach high 80's but still comfortable. (although April 7th, 2007 we did have some snow flurries (very uncommon)).
July - Mid Sept i would say hot. We are now approaching 95 degree weather and it can go up into the low 100's. My advice don't walk around bare foot. Summer days by the pool or lake is nice and relaxing -
NOTE: Just don't get: Black Car w/ blk interior or an out side job. But if you like warmer weather it's not that bad.
Late Sept - Nov: you can see the fall leaves change and is quite beautiful. My favorite time of year in Texas.
Overall - it's not a bad place to live. If you like snow, and are used to cold weather - unless you absolutly hate it - then you might like it here! If you like the snow and cold weather - then I suggest staying here because all your going to say is that it's HOT in the summer.
