Review of Texas, Texas

Political climate

With the exception of Austin, Texas is incredibly conservative. And because Austin is the state capital, the conservative crowd is fairly active there as well. I work in (Republican-run) state government and see first hand the hypocrisy, waste, and general disdain for citizens of this state. If social services and enviromental issues are imporatant to you, Texas may not be the best choice.
