WATER QUALITY MISLEADING

I have lived in Rifle a number of years. I NEVER drink the water!!! I have had to replace numerous metal pipes in my home with heavy-duty plastic since the water corrodes them so badly. Most people I know have some kind of water filtration system in their homes. This is the WORST water I have been in contact with in YEARS and YEARS and it is sad to think it's in Colorado, not far from the mountains. The water should be a lot purer!! EPA allows the cities along the Colorado River on the western slope to discharge their "treated" waste water into the river. The smell is so bad around New Castle, I always close my vents on my vehicle. I have no clue how EPA rates the water as being so wonderful. They obviously don't drink it!!
