Moved back after 35 years

I'm originally from Dowagiac but left in the late 70's. Been back a time or two and finally 5 yrs. ago moved back. I love Dowagiac. You have 4 distinct seasons, fishing, hunting, camping, Lake Michigan, festivals in surrounding areas for most of the year, and many other things to see and do. The only problem I see with our wonderful town is there are no jobs! If we could get a couple factories to move here, it would be so much better. The economy hit us pretty hard here but hopefully with time we can build our town back to the thriving place it once was. Good place to raise a family.
