I have lived here part time for the last two years and absolutely love it. It is so beautiful here with so many different places to watch the sunset. The hiking in the redwoods and on the beaches is amazing. The Smith river is a wonderful place to raft or just hang out at. The town has everything you need and it is very convenient. The weather is overall very good - never hot and not too cold in the winter. Even in the winter rainy season there is always time to get out between the rains every day. There are so much wildlife to be seen in the area.
