To those still wondering about move...

I think there are plenty of posts on here already regarding crime, weather, education. In terms of weather, I think the people that say the climate is great here, must be coming from Michigan, Wisconisn, Minnesota, etc. where winters are LONG, gray and cold. But if you like some form of moisture, hate wind, and find unrelenting dry heat oppressive - this climate is not for you. All one has to do is fly into albuquerque from the east and see that it's called the desert for a reason - it's dry dry dry and desert vegation. I recommend this place for hippie stoner artist types who are maybe too stoned most of the time to realize how much this place pretty much blows, or rich millionaires who made their money somewhere else and like to feel like big fish (in little ponds). People overall aren't very friendly - I haven't really quite figured out yet. People's standards in what makes a good restaurant here or what good food is...are very low. Most restaurants/food that people consider good here would not last long at all anywhere other than the midwestern towns I suppose. Or any place rural I guess. I'm leaving soon. Can't wait and I pray that I never end up back here.
