Blair go drive in Chicago or Dallas then you’ll know what true road rage is. It happens everywhere but some places worse than others & Minneapolis wouldn’t even make the list of road rage capitals. That wouldn’t go to an American city. If you want to experience road rage on an extreme level (who doesn’t) then go to any city in Russia. They seem to take pride in over the top road rage as the daily norm.

Ishan if you have never seen mosquitoes in Minneapolis then you don’t go outside enough. They’re in Minneapolis in abundance for sure as they are in literally every city town or community with standing water. Go to boundary waters in the summer & forget the bug spray see what happens.

Mosquitos? I have never seen mosquitos in Minneapolis and whole Minnesota ever since I came here. You must be mistaking for a different city and State, but Minnesota doesn’t have all these. Yes, I admit that winter sucks here and bad drivers who don’t let you merge but the good things overweight the bad things here. And on top of that, Minneapolis and the whole State of Minnesota is super clean and super safe day and night.

Yes the driving is horrible here. I’ve had many near muss accidents and my daughter was involved in a horrible accident waiting for a traffic light. The weather is horrible and it is tougher than Seattle. I cannot wait to say goodbye.

Agreed that drivers are pretty bad. Never saw someone cross the centerline to pass another car that was going the speed limit ON A CITY STREET, or passing slower cars on the shoulder of a highway, until I moved here, and now I see these things at least once a week. Actually not the worst place to be a bicyclist (I find it better than Portland), but heaven help you if you're on foot: you are on the bottom of the hierarchy, one step below wild turkeys (I'm not kidding). Drivers won't stop for crosswalks - even marked ones with flashing lights, let alone implied crosswalks, and when they get a red light drivers pull into the crosswalk instead of behind it, forcing pedestrians to weave around them. The absolute dominance of the self-involved car driver is pretty incredible here. No mosquitoes this year (2021). We're having a drought. In a normal year they can be bad once you get out of town or on the fringes of the metro area, but most years the mosquito control district does a pretty good job of keeping them from being too bad.
