Review of Desert Hot Springs, California

My wife and two girls stopped here for the night on our way back to Arizona and stayed at a fairly nice hotel. When we went to go eat dinner at a local fast food joint we were baraged with requests for change, meth-heads, and alcoholics. I could not believe the majority of the people we saw were either strung out, dirty, or peddlers. I will never visit this city again.

I have also spent time in DHS at the Palm Springs Spa and I have never been approached by vagrants. I would say try not to stay right in the heart of town, but mainly I would reassure you that DHS is undergoing a massive reviatlaization effort and they are working really hard to change it. I personally am thinknig of buying a house right in the HEART of DHS and I will stay there. Because I believe that ARTISTS SHOULD coME HERE. IT'S CHEAP AND VERY PEACEFUL> sO LET'S HOPE WE CAN CHANGE THE POOR ECONOMY HERE.

And you didn't bother to see the rest of our city. Every place has a bad area, you happened to visit ours. That is not our entire community, it is one small spot, which our police department is working to clear up. Next time, try opening your eyes to the entire environment,not one small spot.
