Athens,Ga. Housing market out of control

Been in Athens for almost 30 years and still love this town. Great little city with way more than its share of great restaurants, great bars, live music and college athletics. Problem is that the housing market has gone out the roof over the last 20 years. The cool intown neighborhoods are unaffordable now. If you can pay $300,000 for a house that was worth 160k a few years ago, and 60k a few years before that, then you might like purchasing a house here. Other than that Athens is great.
