Review of South Carolina, South Carolina

Climate and gardening
Star Rating - 7/29/2010
If you like heat and humidity in the summer and relatively mild temperatures in the winter with nearly 12 months per year for gardening, then the midlands of South Carolina is for you.

SC Midlands (area around Columbia, Aiken Orangeburg and Sumter) have a more dry kind of climate, which is slightrly humid at times, but because of Sand Hills its a drier climate with humidity levels of 30% very often or less, especially when its hot and it;s sunny 80% of the time. Great climate. You don;t want it to be too dry like in west coast for your skin to flake. Some humidity is good. SC Midlands humidity is not a sticky type humidity. Cost of living is low, homes are cheap, weather is great, taxes are low. SC is the best place in the USA to move to! Although if too many people will move to SC the taxes will go up, so stay away! Stay in your overrated California!
