Trust me, Houston and its crime has caught up with Sugar Land in the past 10 years. I've been here for over 25 years, and when we came here there was hardly any mention of crime. Now, they try to hide it to keep up that image of years ago. House break-ins, armed robbery on Hwy 6, etc. If you're looking for that safe suburb of years ago, keep looking.
