Forgot one important benefit of Abq, NO BUGS! Additionally, whoever wrote that the Balloon Fiesta is overrated is crazy. I have friends and family from the Midwest calling months in advance to book my spare bedroom, daughter's bedroom and empty couches. In St. Louis at the Forest Park Balloon Event, we thought 10 balloons ascending at one time was cool, try 750 at the Fiesta.
