I lived in Boulder for nearly 50 years. Rich snobs is right. it used to be farmers and hippies, and very friendly people. People don't even say hello anymore -- very stuck up and dressed perfectly in REI. The spandex crowd riding the trails and roads in unnerving. Expensive. It's assumed by most vendors that if you live in Boulder you're rich, and they charge you as such. Property taxes are about to sky rocket because of the new laws. Traffic has gotten very bad.
