Friends here are hard to come by

We moved here from Jersey and it was a culture shock..I don't know what it is but we can't seem to find anyone that we share common ground with. They are either too young or too old. Our son had no problems at all finding friends..our neighborhood was filled with boys and so life was good for him. I love the beach but there's no Boardwalk so it is a bit boring..the block we live on has extremely bizarre and nasty ppl. The only fun thing to do here is go to Thrift shops.
