If you work in Chicago or Chicago area the ride can be really tough. Took me 2 hours to get home from Chicago to Hampshire. I recommend the Rockford or dekalb or Huntley  More

The climate is not bad. Mild winters but hot and humid summers. Hurricanes, but no snow and ice storms. Cost of living is a little too high, as is population density.  More
